Although we don’t always manage to meet our Iceland Travellers face to face, we have made a great many friendships by phone and through email while we discuss, plan and arrange a holiday. This means that we are very eager to find out all about it afterwards, and we’re delighted to share our ‘thank you’ messages here.
Iceland Hiking Challenge, September 2018. 11 ladies including Iceland Traveller’s Julia and Yvonne got together in March 2018 to train and prepare for a hiking (with camping) experience in Iceland, that would represent a personal challenge to each of us. There’s more here about the hike plans, and here in our blog.
Thank you Iceland Traveller……because the hike delivered far more than I expected. A lot of it had to do with the group of amazing people, Iceland Traveller planning things such as going off the tourist track to our wonderfully delicious meals at Maria’s, as well as the above and beyond hiking guides ….who took us to amazing places and looked after us so well.
Thank you Iceland Traveller…….for the company of the most amazingly lovely, warm, supportive, interesting and inspiring group of women – I think and hope I may have come home with some long term friendships.
Autumn sightseeing holiday staying in Reykjavik and the countryside in South Iceland, September 2018
Thank you Iceland Traveller, for arranging our tours and activities. The farm visit on the South Coast tour added a lovely personal insight into a “real family life”. We thoroughly enjoyed our excellent, well-organised and long anticipated first visit to Iceland. Thank you.
40th Birthday celebrations! November 2017. Mum and Dad promised us that although she was 6, their daughter would more than manage winter walking and would eat everything, which she did!
Thank you Iceland Traveller, I wanted to say it was an amazing holiday, even better than I expected. The arrangements were perfect, and it was the perfect holiday for my 40th. Thank you for all you did to put it together. There were so many amazing experiences! We trekked to the geothermal river and back again and pushed Emilie’s stamina to the edge, and what a trooper she was.
Knitting, yarn, culture and craft journey July and August 2017. This solo journey included travel in the UK and to Iceland and back on a wonderful long trip for an Australian lady who we were also delighted to meet briefly in London.
Thank you Iceland Traveller, I’ve had a marvellous time and appreciate the part you both played in helping me organise things. Back at work yesterday and today, a bit tired but managing ok, will have the next 3 days off to try and unpack and sort out all the yarn that I ended up buying. Thank you again. I will definitely recommend you to anyone I know planning Iceland holidays.
