The Icelandic sea salt flakes contained in the new Iceland Traveller chocolate bar come from Breiðafjörður Bay, a beautiful and bio-diverse area lying between the Snaefellsness peninsula and the remote Westfjords of Iceland. Since 1753, using sustainable geothermal energy, these crunchy flakes have been produced on the small island of Karlsay. This unique tasting sea salt also contains naturally occurring potassium and magnesium, known to be good for the heart.
